Let's Pray
Lord, help me exercise and eat better!

My body is a temple to glorify You!
Father in the name of Jesus, I offer up my body to You as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing in Your sight as my spiritual act of worship. I do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but I am transformed by the renewing of my mind. I receive Your grace.
Lord I want to be a better steward over my body. Lord, I need help to exercise. Lord, I need help to eat healthier. I can’t do this without You. I receive Your grace for when I am weak You are strong. It’s not by might nor by power but by Your spirit that I steward over my body with excellence. My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, so I am not my own property. I was bought with a price. Jesus paid the price for me. God teach me how to honour and glorify You with my body.
I pray that I be intentional about my exercise. I resist all laziness, procrastination and lethargy. May I do everything without complaining. Guide me to the best locations and forms of exercise. May Your presence be with me as I exercise. My time is in Your hands, so let me not be distracted or make excuses to not exercise. Lord, I thank You for all the provision You want me to have in order to exercise – clothing, sneakers, gym membership, bike, personal trainer, fitness apps, workout accountability partner, instructors, and anything else You have provided. I receive Your grace to workout consistently and with pure joy. Father, I pray that I be diligent to go to bed and rise up at a consistent time, for You have promised me a peaceful rest. May I not overexert myself and place my confidence in my flesh, for all my exercise is an act of faith. It is You who disciplines those that You love. I totally trust in You Lord to strengthen my muscles, core and bones. My results will be for Your glory and not to exalt my flesh.
It is my desire to honour You God with my body, so I can be in excellent health to build up Your kingdom. You have given me the free will to make choices. I choose You God. Therefore, I resist gluttony, overeating, junk food, sugar, excess salt, greasy foods for I claim wise eating choices. I say no to those foods which open the attack of heartburn, allergies, skin outbreaks, indigestion, excess weight gain, fatigue, bloating, heartburn and reflux. May I use wisdom in my food choices and not be in fear of potential side effects, eating in faith and trusting in You.
Thank You for guiding me to new recipes and blessing me with provision for healthier foods. I am open to new flavours, textures and seasonings that I may have not liked in the past but can now provide me with healthy nutrients. Thank You for providing me those things necessary to steward my body well – clean water, fresh vegetables, fruit, healthy oils, spices, herbs, vitamins, minerals and meats, that I am lead by You to eat. Guide me to restaurants and menus that provide excellent food options to steward my body well.
I celebrate now Lord, knowing You have answered my prayer, in Jesus name. Amen

All Yours

My Total Abandonment
Heavenly Father, I am Yours for You sent Your only begotten Son for me. Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for me. You are the resurrection and the life, my Savior and Lord. You died on the cross and rose again, so I would live a forgiven, abundant life. Christ you have redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me. As You gave Your life for me, I choose daily to submit my life to You. For I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Thank You for holding me in Your arms and loving me while I live a life fully surrendered and submitted to You. Jesus, I claim You as Lord over my career, parenting, marriage, expectations, desires, wants, heart, tongue, thoughts, time, choices, bank accounts, harvest, spending, tithing, giving, body, and consumptions (including food, money, music, technology, entertainment). I give You my all, You may change me, shape me, mold me, prune me to walk a fully submitted life to the Holy Spirit. I want to be the world changer You have preordained in my mother’s womb as You created my inmost being. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I trust You, for all the days ordained for me were written in Your book.
You are the very air I breathe, I exchange my life for Yours to live in your perfect will and to be an abandoned worshipper. One who worships You in spirit and in truth. One whose daily acts and choices are worship unto You. May my life line up with Your word and timing. For I walk in the flesh, I do not war with the flesh for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. I cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. I desire to see a move of God through my life and those You bring me in contact with. May Your glory manifest in my everyday activities, to set the captives free, to break yolks and to share the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. I love You Lord with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I live a life of expectation to see the supernatural released on the earth through a life of favour and total abandonment to You. In Jesus name, Selah.

Rep Yo City

I Love My City
Father in the name of Jesus, it is an honour to be called and entrusted to pray for our city, Vancouver. We pray that Vancouver and its people dwell in the shelter of the most high and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. May your presence dwell in hearts of our elected officials and civic leaders including our mayor, council people, police, fire, philanthropist, pastors, rabbis, priests, muslim and sikh leaders. We thank your Father, that these people have eyes to see and ears to hear the truth and love of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We thank you for loosing labourers in their paths to share the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for doors to be open and believers to walk through those doors to share their faith and unconditional love of God. May our faith be motivated by love to spread the good news of Christ. We pray that the people of this city from all nations receive your Son Jesus, be filled with the Holy Spirit and become disciples for Christ. We pray for a spirit of unity, protection and holiness over our city.
We plead the blood of Jesus over our city and it is protected from any attack of terrorism for no weapon that forms against us shall prosper. We claim you as Lord over the seven mountains of influence in Vancouver – arts/entertainment, government, family, education, business, church & media. Your presence dwells in the locations of the spheres of influence – schools, city hall, banks, federal buildings, churches, synagouges, mosques, temples, film studios, casting offices, sound stages, theatres, museums, arenas, federal and provincial courts, police stations, fire stations, universities and our homes. Your protection covers the north, south east and west of Vancouver, the highways, bridges, ports of entry and streets.
You have given us dominion in heavenly places. We know that our fight is not against flesh and blood but against rulers and principalities of darkness. Your word says in Matthew 16:19 that you have given us keys and authority of the kingdom of heaven: and whatever we bind on earth will have already been bound in heaven, whatever we loose (declare, permit) on earth will have already been loosed in heaven. So Father in the name of Jesus, we bind up the spirits of lasciviousness, dishonour, rebellion, idolaltry, new age, addiction, poverty and greed. Where those demonic spirits once dwelled, we loose holiness, grace, honour, humility, Godly love, peace, joy , unity and reverence for you, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is the enemy who comes to kill, steal and destroy but you oh God bring life, more abundantly. Oh Lord, have your way in our city. We believe we receive these prayers answered. In Jesus Name, Amen.

A Victorious Generation
January 12, 2018
A Prayer for our Teens & Young Adults
Father in the name of Jesus, we lift up to you all teens & young adults raised in the church, not raised in the church, saved and yet to be saved, those backslidden and those that serve you with great honor, those who pretend to serve you, those who are homeless, forgotten and abused. We plead the blood of Jesus over this generation that will lead the body of Christ into Glory. We pray a hedge of protection around them according to Psalm 91. This generation shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. They are the head and not the tail. Your warring angels and ministering angels stand encamped around them. No weapon that forms against them shall prosper.
This generation walks holy before you. You bear their burdens, as they cast all their cares over unto you. You heal their hearts and bodies from all dieases. They have the mind of Christ and free from all attacks on their mind including depression, anxiety, ADHD, self harm, bipolar, narcisim, selfishness, insecurities, and self hatred.
You always give them a way out of sin. They are a generation that repents and turns away from sin. The enemy is defeated from deceiving them through social media, tv, movies, news , books, fashion, drugs, alcohol and all forms of entertainment. Your word is their standard and truth, as they choose to believe you and not the lies of the enemy. They are beautiful, knit from their mother’s womb, fearfully and wonderfully made, God’s handiwork – we pray they embrace these truths.
These appointed and anointed teens and young adults of this season, hunger and thirst for righteousness and they shall be filled. They seek first your kingdom and righteousness and all things are added unto them. They put you first before all they do. Their faith works by love. They don’t let anyone look down on them because they are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. They are wise, humble and filled with God ordained strategies to be used in the church, entertainment, business, government, sports, education and family. You are birthing through this generation: kingdom churches, new sounds of worship, disciple makers, the five-fold ministry, businesses, fortune 500 corporations, banks, schools, new governments and next generation systems. They feed the hungry, lay hands on the sick, build homes, share their wealth, give of their gifts and talents all for your glory.
We thank you for this generation. We in the body of Christ need them. May we respect, honour and love them, in Jesus name, Amen.
