Finally Home Pt. 2

I decided to maintain the connection with the Richmond family after the retreat. I visited the church Pastor Terrance was preaching at for some months and my faith grew exponentially in that time frame. The commitment he had as a Pastor to bring the riveting and compelling word of God every time with such passion and surrender to the Holy Spirit made all the difference. The word was not confined to man made boxes of what preaching should and sound like. Where the spirit went, he went. This is what we as believers really need in leaders, especially in these times where what people desire is an encounter with Jesus.

When Pastor Terrance and his wife Pastor Julia came to me at the end of December 2016 and asked me to be a part of the LQIC plant that they were beginning in 2017, I was deeply humbled yet extraordinarily excited! This is what I had been praying about; it’s where I belonged and where the Lord wanted me to place my roots and grow! It was an answered prayer. The Holy Spirit led my every step, I followed and I was FINALLY HOME!

Since I decided to make LQIC my church home and be in leadership, my life has changed dramatically. I have experienced and continue to see such an enormous transformation in my own life and in the lives of others around me.

As we began to build the foundation for our church, I witnessed how when the word of God is the very rock that we build everything on, the ability to grow, expand and impact others is limitless. I see how wonderfully the Lord is allowing for myself and others at LQIC to share their God given passions and gifts for His glory through His church.

I am now in ministry serving as I desired to be and have a capacity to love others in a way I never thought was possible. The same love and deep presence of the Holy Spirit that I felt at the retreat the year before is at the very core of our church. I feel it at every service and gathering I attend, and it only gets better every time. Anyone who says that church is for boring people has not come to LQIC, it is anything but boring! It’s always SO MUCH FUN and you will find us dancing at every opportunity we have because we celebrate that we are alive in Christ!

At LQIC our mission is to: Love All Nations, Equip The Church, Mobilize The Equipped and Serve All

We joyfully welcome people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to come to LQIC and encounter the love of our Lord Jesus Christ through powerful worship, praise, prayer and the word of God. Jesus has blessed us with artists, musicians, teachers, families, students and professionals, and the unity that is felt among ALL the people here is beautiful. We really are all family and every person is of great value as a part of the greater body of Christ. You are free to be who God wonderfully created you to be and to celebrate that in His house with us.

The time is now to share our light to the world and rise up in these last days. People are hungry and we have found the bread of life!

I am so excited for what is to come at LQIC. As we continue to grow we will see what the Lord has in store for every person ready to dive in and be a part of it. Many lives will drastically change for the better as mine did and Vancouver will never be the same, so come and Get Your Love Fix Maaan!
